F-I-N-Z! FINZ! FINZ! FINZ!
The Miami Dolphins beat the NY Jets today 19-17. It got close towards the end, but the Miami defense was able to hold with 2 key interceptions at the end of the game, 3 total. It was mainly the defense who kept the Finz in the game, the offense was idle throughout most of the game but picked it up when necessary.
Matt Moore finished the game 22-32, 135 yards, TD, and unfortunately, 2 interceptions. He did what he had to do, but almost cost us the game, thankfully the defense held on late in the 4th. The running game was mediocre at best, gaining a total of 82 yards on 26 total attempts.
Knocking the Jets out of the playoff picture is definitely a nice way to end the season, however, I can't help think "What If..." this team could've been so much better if they learned how to close the deal earlier in the season. Let bygones be bygones, looking forward, I am excited to see what the Dolphins will do in the draft as well as free agency. Crossing our fingers hoping that we make the right decisions is all we can do right now.
